I also appreciated the subtle building of characters through their actions and dialogue. A clean romance, this story was refreshing. You knew why they behaved the way they did. I so would have loved this book as a teen: It has a lot to offer to the reader and gives you a chance to travel in a world so different from ours and yet the same.

This book is an excellent acadeny in character. The romance was written absolutely perfectly, as were the characters.
