Oscars pain over what is happening is crushing in my opinion, as a reader and the a fact Rose is unaware makes it worse.
Overall, I’m sort of in the middle with this book. More descriptions and world-building, I wanted to read about the things Rose mentioned instead of just having a sentence telling me it had happened. I loved the story i read it in less then a day! This is the first novel by Gabriella I have read and all I can say is I’m very, very glad I have Secrets in Phoenix on hand to jump straight into!!
But after a series of dark and disturbing dreams, and the surprise arrival of charming brothers Oscar and Caicus Valero, her world is thrown upside-down. I gabrirlla get into the story. I read it over such a long period of time, so I didn’t get that into it. I really really wanted to like this because the story and beginning were so good but it just fell flat.
Overall pretty dismal book, very open ended ending, boring, lacked backstory and explanation. The object of his despair lay on the ground. That said I dint hate this book, I just didn’t feel anything for it.
The writer, I think has a lot of potential, but it was not met with this novel. Who I recommend this book to: It’s almost like he’s trying hard to be evil. Probably ideal for people who like easy, breezy paranormal books with a splash of light romance. I really enjoyed her new take on witches and the plot was a great combination of intense moments, an evil prophecy, and a continuous threat of a supernatural being that looms over the character.

Founr fresh take on witches and the complete rehaul of style from her last book shows just how talented Gabriella Lepore really is. It was a bit unclear as to whether Emily was Rose. I’m hesitant to pick this book up because I’m not a big fan of love triangles, and it seems like there will be one.
So this book was really wonderful. But of course that is your opinion, I’ll get on with mine. Lists with This Book. The place is really quiet and sleepy, so it was a surprise when two brothers gqbriella showed up and almost forced her aunt to accept them as guests. What are the brothers hiding? J all happens very quickly and Rose accepts the discovery of what Oscar and Caicus are far too easily.

I was ashamed to admit it, but I was blushing because he was so attractive. And then Gabriella’s other books too. This isn’t a problem at all and doesn’t really effect the book, it’s just personal to me as a mother who reads sneakily between my child’s nap times. I’m not sure why Oscar thought Rose would be safe if she was in the tree house or out in the woods?

I loved this book although sometimes seemed a little doubtful from time to time this was instantly over ridden by my curiosity about the characters and the storyl I actually received this book a while back on my visit to Cardiff from the authors father!!
But after a series of dark and disturbing dreams, and the surprise arrival of charming brothers Oscar and Caicus Valero, her world is thrown upside-down. The characters are flat, annoying and highly unlikeable. Though this does explain the nightmare that repeats itself each night. My favourite scene is their first scene alone in the woods I shall say no more because his resolve to hide from her quickly dissolves.
This book was beyond amazing.
