I think it is a really good book to use in a classroom when discussing multiple cultures. Overall I reozom it was clever but unsure whether it is something I would recommend. The Zoom narrative moves from a rooster to a ship to a city street to a desert island and outer space. In this follow-up to ‘s Zoom, Banyai toys with perception as each picture resoom just a detail in a larger scene.

It started of well but got a bit confusing as it was difficult to see where the pictures came from. What we thought was a ma Re-zoom was one of the most interesting books I’ve ever read, or looked at since it is all pictures. Reading front to back we zoom out each time, while reading back to front the images zoom in.
