They are both damn lucky to have one another. I was very very curious as to how things will go with these two since I have been following them from books 1 and 2. Yes, it really did help that I read the first two before reading this.
At least I had a little backgrou 4. At least I had a little background of how they are. Betsy has been chronically shy from the past books and it was carried on to the third one. Jace is still as confident as ever, but he’s not completely happy with his life.
It was very interesting to read about how these two fell in love. When I first opened the book, I was blown right away by how deep Betsy’s problem is. I knew right away that this novel is going to be a little less lighthearted than the last vitoplo. Betsy has too many insecurities. I don’t think she ever completely trusted a person before Jace too. It’s sad really, how she’s so affected by her past. However, she had moments of confidence that she makes me feel proud.
Oh, he saw a lot alright. You see, Jace knows that Betsy has been crushing on him. At first, I thought that he was so smug about it. But no, I was wrong. From the beginning of their um Even when he wasn’t owning up to it, he kkelley for our shy heroine.

He was amazed by her. I’d like to believe that Jace also made Betsy better. He made her open up more and he made her more comfortable in her own skin. It was so much fun reading how Jace gradually fell for Betsy.
He was in denial at first, but when he got past that. It was all good. For Betsy, it wasn’t the same since I believe that she was already half in love with the guy since the first book.
It was just a matter of beating her insecurities and letting her self be happy too. All things ended well. This book is so sweet and I honestly liked it. Jace may just be the coolest guy among the three. View all 3 comments. Jun 10, Kristina rated it it was amazing. When I was given the opportunity to read and write a review for this book I just had to do it.
I am a huge Nyrae Dawn fan – huge. I cannot seem to get enough of her books, and it has been that way since I first discovered What a Boy Wants over year ago.
However, that was where the similarities ended. Holy mother, it was like an entirely different writer.

I’ve never seen an author be able to do that. If I didn’t know I When I jusy given the opportunity to read and write a review for this book I just had to do it. If I didn’t know I would have never, ever made that connection.
I loved Jace luc Betsy. With a name like Betsy, how could I not? I stepped into this series without reading the previous two and it was no problem. I never felt out of the loop, because Kelley could catch me up to speed without actually distracting from the current story line, or spend too much time doing it.
Betsy works at Jace’s law firm, and is basically his crutch. He acknowledges, quite often, how much he needs her with him. As somebody he relies on, it makes sense that he goes to her to help him with his new predicament. That issue comes in the form of being forced to marry and live with a lady for 6 months, otherwise he forfeits his childhood home and his grandfather’s wife will gain possession. Naturally, he asks Betsy.
His sidekick, who he knows has a crush on him, but somebody he can rely on and confide in. She, of course, agrees.
Betsy has her own set of issues with her mother. Betsy pays for her mother’s care and is falling behind on payments. When Jace approaches her with his ridiculous proposition, and in return offers to pay her a lot of money, she accepts. This girl will do pretty much anything for that mother of hers, even at the expense of her own sanity.
Marrying and living with Jace, her crush, will really test her because she knows how much he can hurt her. They do the deed, fake it for their friends, and learn a lot about each other in the process.
Jace sees what has been right in front of him, and Betsy tries to not fall harder while dealing with major insecurities. Both struggle with commitment issues.
It’s kellej absolutely adorable read. I didn’t see Jace in the previous books, so I only know the kinder side of him. I was a little hesitant about him because he knew Betsy had feelings for him, and he still asked this of her.
It seemed a little selfish and I was sad that he didn’t immediately crush on her. However, Betsy had reason to do this, she was gaining as well. The marriage was mutually beneficial so I could not feel that bad for her. I was happy with the ending and how Jace completed their HEA.
It’s always fun to see your area in a book, even if she made us a little podunk. Definitely give this book a chance. The story was solid, the characters well developed, and a good dose of humor. A very sweet, quick read. May 25, Autumn Review rated it it was amazing Shelves: I have been anxious for Jace’s book since I read the first book in the Shamrock Falls series. Pairing Betsy and Jace together was perfect. She’s quiet, shy, and a bit innocent, while Jace has been a bit of a player and never had plans to settle down.
Betsy’s had a crush on Jace for a while, but watching him start to really see her was pretty great! I loved getting to know Betsy better in this book. She’s a dedicated assistant to Jace, she’s a good friend to Sidney and Rowan, and she’s a good daug I have been anxious for Jace’s book since I read the first book in the Shamrock Falls series.
She’s a dedicated assistant to Jace, she’s a good friend to Sidney and Rowan, and she’s a good daughter. Betsy is a bit quiet and hasn’t opened up to many people. No one really knows about her mother’s issues. Once she moves in with Jace after the wedding, he starts to see her personality a bit more.
